WMF thermal functions WMF thermal jugs have either a glass or stainless steel core. Both types keep hot drinks warm equally well. The ad- vantage of stainless steel: because the inner core is double-walled and sur- rounded by a vacuum, the jug can be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, the insulation properties of both tech- nologies may decrease over time. That's where products with a glass core are more practical because they can be replaced completely.

The facing walls of the double-walled glass jug are coated with sil- ver. The coating en- sures that the inner jug keeps drinks nice and warm. If the insulating prop- erties of the glass core decrease, it can be eas- ily replaced with a new one.

The exterior of the stainless steel core is coated with copper so drinks stay warm for an especially long time.
